Maikol looked up, surprised by Jennifer’s direct question. Marta, Cristina, and Willians also fell silent, waiting for his response. Maikol sighed deeply and began to speak.

“It’s hard to explain,” Maikol said, “but since Willians arrived, I’ve been remembering things I tried to forget. Things from my past that have been haunting me.”

Willians frowned, confused. “What things, Maikol? What’s troubling you so much?”

Maikol took a sip of his drink before continuing. “Years ago, before I met you, Jennifer, and before we all became friends, Willians and I were involved in something… something dark. It was a time in my life I’d rather not remember, but Willians’ presence has brought those memories back.”

Jennifer looked at him with concern. “Maikol, you know you can trust us. What happened?”

Maikol closed his eyes for a moment, as if gathering the courage to continue. “Willians and I were part of a group that did illegal things. Robberies, fraud… things I’m not proud of. I thought I had left all that behind, but now that Willians is here, those memories are consuming me.”

The group remained silent, processing Maikol’s confession. Willians, with a look of regret, approached Maikol and put a hand on his shoulder. “Maikol, I’m sorry. I had no idea my presence would affect you like this. If there’s anything I can do to help you get through this, I will.”

Jennifer, Marta, and Cristina moved closer to Maikol, offering their support. “We’re here for you, Maikol,” Jennifer said. “You don’t have to face this alone.”
